When planning to start offering this cake painting class, we thought about levels of artistic ability and wondered how we could teach one class to a range of experiences, from beginner Cake Painters all the way through to the experienced Sugarcrafter who would like a top up. This is why we have chosen such a different type of cake to paint.
Our bohemian inspired chalk board tired cake has proved to be the winning formula. Not only does it allow for detail and technique, it is also forgiving and workable by design.
