With Father’s Day fast approaching I was excited to be featured in a Magazine article with my Daddy Cool Cake.
As you may well have guessed by now, I love to push boundaries and for Father’s Day my submission is no different.
What do you think?
According to a recent survey, you might not be surprise to learn that the tie is consistently the most popular gift for fathers, but I feel it is time for something a bit more special.
Do something more than send one of the 87 million Father’s Day Cards sent each year, why not make a special Cake just for the occasion.
If you want to learn how then why not booking onto one of my workshops where we learn how to use Modelling Chocolate.
Modelling chocolate is one of the most versatile and easy to use products in a cake decorator’s arsenal. It is rigid enough to hold its shape when cutting out intricate details yet pliable enough to mould into sculptured pieces, such as my Daddy Cool.
But, trust me modelling chocolate can be frustrating to make, yielding a lumpy or broken final product for no apparent reason. So, make sure you follow a concise recipe and take your time.
If you do love cake decorating as much as me, then why not come to one of my Cake Decorating Workshops. All hosted in a beautiful corner of Surrey, with all material and refreshments supplied.
In fact, my workshops and their location were featured in the accompanying article to the Daddy Cool Cake:
I run a number of different courses throughout the year, all of which you can see on my Cake Decorating Courses page and if you would like to book one you can go to my Cake Decorating Classes Eventbrite page.
Happy Fathers’s Day
